“Do you . . . do you need any help?” Aazon didn't look up at the girl and focused intently on the task at hand.
"So you decided to stay. Bird will be happy." He peered into the depths of the engine he was working on and sighed. "A wrench. I need a wrench and a flashlight. They should be on the second rack, fourth shelf up."
-------------------------
“And a drink,” Tabitha added. Trinn liked her, she acted differently than most, in a good way. She turned to him, and Trinn took a big swig of water and wiped his mouth. “So . . . I’m not one for research and I didn’t bother to ask the little Frey-girl. How long since the slavers took over your planet? And how exactly can you react to things and see people while still being blind?”
"Two months I think?" Trinn shrugged. "It doesn't matter too much how long, but more or less so that they came and took over." He paused to think of a good answer for Tabitha's second question. "We'll just to clear things up, I'm a Miraluka, not a Nish. I was born without eyes, but also blessed with a gift. I don't see like you see. I see objects and things based on their life's energy, or the Force, as the Jedi call it. The reason I knew you and you're friend were Jedi was because I could see the Force radiating off of you two. Most everyone on this planet looks gray, but there are a few people like Aazon that have untapped Force abilities." He grinned as the bartender placed a drink in front of Tabitha. "That a good enough explanation for you?

"So you decided to stay. Bird will be happy."
Freya couldn’t help but smile a tiny bit at the comment. She had decided something—and it made someone happy. That was her ultimate goal in life—to make all others happy, and yet she always found that she just wasn’t good enough for such a task.
“A wrench. I need a wrench and a flashlight. They should be on the second rack, fourth shelf up.”
It took her a moment to process what he said, since she was so pleased to be pleasing someone. But then she nodded and quickly went over to the second rack, where Aazon had pointed. She counted up four shelves and sure enough, found a wrench and a flashlight. Quickly, she took them and silently returned to Aazon, holding them out for him.
“What are you trying to fix?” Freya asked, softly. “I do love to fix things.” And broken people. I like to fix them too. “Was this shop your father’s?”
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabitha shrugged and sipped her drink. “Sounds weird to me,” she said. “You miss out on seeing the beauty in people. Although that little weirdo of a padawan would tell me that a person like you sees a whole different beauty. But there is one thing that confuses me. You said the Aazon guy had ‘untapped’ force abilities. Just how much does he have? And what’s the deal with him anyhow? That a family shop? And are you and the Birdboy living under his care? And Bird, what’s his deal? Why doesn’t he talk?”

"What are you trying to fix? I do love to fix things." Freya asked Aazon softly. However, before he could answer she asked another question, "Was this shop your father's?"
Aazon's hand slipped and he swore, yanking his hand out of the engine and rubbing his aching palm. "This is an engine for an old speeder that some asked me to fix. It's a piece of junk but the person who hired me is paying a lot." He took the flashlight and wrench from Freya and went back to work. "My father would never have run a shop like this. No, he disowned me and kicked me out on the street. I was picked up by my master, and when he died, he left the shop to me. I could care less about my old life, this one suits me better." He smirked at her and hen adjusted the screw inside the engine a bit before pullin his hands out. "Well, that is that." He rubbed his dirty hands on his pants and stared at his work.
"Aazon," Bird walked in looking down at his newly shoe-covered feet. "Thanks for the shoes, it means a lot."
"I just hope you washed your feet." Aazon replied glad that Bird seemed happier than he had been during he last few weeks.
"Of course!" Bird looked up at him with wide eyes. Then, he caught sight of Freya and beamed brighter than a thousand suns. He smiled at her a joyful look on his face. "Freya! I'm so happy that you stayed!"
-----------------------------------------------------------
"I merely kent that Aazon has the Force inside of him, he just doesn't know it. He gets premonitions for danger and has no problem finding his way around. He calls it his sixth sense but I know it is just the power inside of him working." Trinn shrugged. "Aazon is bitter about his family, so I wouldn't bring it up unless you want to get your head chewed off. But, he's only done that with me. His shop actually belonged to his master, the man who picked him up off the streets when he was younger. He takes care of Bird and I because we have nowhere else to go." Trinn stopped to catch his breath and tried to remember the last question. He took another drink of water. "Bird is Bird. He doesn't talk because he isn't in he mood to. It is one of he things that you have to get used to. Yet, he talks more when he gets excited, but that's about it. He doesn't like to talk about what happened to his family. He's kind if a boring guy, if you ask me."

"Freya! I'm so happy that you stayed!"
Freya looked at Bird and for a moment wondered why he was happy to see her. After all, if she was as useless as everyone except for the boy made her feel, there was no reason to have her anywhere.
But Freya smiled, taking it as a compliment. It was then she noticed the boy’s shoes and her smile grew. She had been considering giving him hers, though they probably wouldn’t have fit right. “Your shoes are marvelous,” she commented before turning and giving Aazon a genuine smile, her eyes sparkling with the good of the Force. “You are very kind.” Then she turned back to Bird and shrugged. “I figured Tabitha would be fine and if she started a fight, she could end it.” There was a slight silence before Freya asked, “Is there anything I can do for you guys? Anything that needs to be done?” You can’t breathe unless you’re serving people. It’s so engrained in you that you have no worth and you were born to serve that you don’t know what it’s like to be treated as an equal. a familiar voice seethed in her mind.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Yet, he talks more when he gets excited, but that's about it. He doesn't like to talk about what happened to his family. He's kind if a boring guy, if you ask me."
Tabitha rolled her eyes. “Boring, no wonder Sanatore’s taken a liking to him. Eh, whatever. What about you? What about your past? You don’t have to tell me or whatever, cause I, uh . . . I know that sometimes it’s best to just . . . forget the past. But I am curious how a kid like you ended up with a kid like Bird.”

Aazon grunted at her comment and went about checking the engine for any loose ends. He wasn't nice, not by any means. He had to take care of Bird, not because he was techniqually the king, bt for another reason. When the girl asked if she could do anything for them he nodded and pointed at Bird. "Get him to eat. Tie him down and force feed him if you have to."
"But I'm not---" Bird started to object.
"Don't even start, you've barely eaten in two weeks. You can't do anything to help anyone on an empty stomach."
"But---"
Aazon looked up and stared Bird down. If he died from starvation, Aazon would blame himself for the death of the kingdom. Bird couldn't die because that would mean the he would have to... "Eat, Z. Eat."
----------------------------------------------------
Trinn shrugged, "No past, no present, and no future. I don't have a story. I'm just going to live and die like the stars. I won't ask you about your past if you dot want me too." He took another swig off water and leaned back with a sigh. So many questions. Though he wasn't going to show it made him tense when she asked questions about Bird. Did she know his secret? Did she know that he was the lost prince of Nishr? If that was the case did she know about Aazon's secret? How was that possible though? Aazon and Trinn alone knew Aazon's secret, not even Bird knew. "Well, what kind of things do you need to know?" he tried to deviate from the conversation.

"Get him to eat. Tie him down and force feed him if you have to."
Freya smiled gently at Aazon, wondering if he knew just how blatantly obvious it was to her that he cared the world for Bird.
"But I'm not---" Bird started to object.
"Don't even start, you've barely eaten in two weeks. You can't do anything to help anyone on an empty stomach."
Two weeks? Freya’s eyes widened when she heard that. Yes, there were some jedi that could shut their bodies down for that long, but she had never been the meditation type. Only healing—it was the only thing she was capable of.
"But---"
"Eat, Z. Eat."
Freya smiled shyly at Bird. She glanced at Aazon, nodded and hesitantly walked into the back room, where there seemed to be a kitchen-like area. She was suddenly glad she had a small pack of spices on her belt. She would make the food tasteful for the boy, who obviously needed food. She searched around until she found a small bit of food. She was saddened to find that these men didn’t have much food to live off of. The Jedi were always supplied with food, even if it wasn’t good—it was still food.
Quietly and obediently, Freya prepared a small dish for Bird, adding some of her own spices into it. As she prepared it, she turned to look at Bird.
“He really cares about you. How did you meet him?” she asked softly.
-----------------------------------------------
"Well, what kind of things do you need to know?" Trinn said, though his subtly was . . . less than subtle. Something about the Bird kid was off . . . something about Trinn was off. Heck, something about the world was off.
Tabitha took another drink and thought for a moment. “What’s the skill and size of these slavers? I mean, are they going to cause a fight? Cause Sanatore isn’t going to like that. She’s made a stupid vow never to kill anyone. It’s got a nice sentiment, but she needs to wake up to the harsh, cruel truth that people die and bad people just need to die sooner. She’s never lived an unsheltered life, so this is all new. But I’ve fought in wars before, so I know there’s a price. How trained are these slavers at fighting and how trained are your rebels?”

"You don't half to---" Bird started to object, but Freya went on her merry way to cook. He let out a quiet sigh and followed her. It had been a long while since someone had cooked for him, well, since that palace chef had cooked for him. Ever since that day, Bird hadn't eaten very much. He had lost his appetite since his parents' death. Then, every time he ate, he couldn't help but feel guilty that he had food while others were starving on the streets. He rested his forehead in his palms. It was all just so....messed up.
“He really cares about you. How did you meet him?” Freya smiled at him.
Bird swallowed and calmed the butterflies that he got in his stomach. when she spoke to him. "Yeah...he does, but I don't know why. Before the slavers came I lived a privileged life. He was hired to fix an item of a...um...family friend." I can't tell her that the person her hired him was my father, the king. Bird hated lying, but certain times called for special measures. Then again, Freya was a Jedi. She wouldn't make him take the throne when there was no way he could survive at the moment. He bit his lip. He would tell her. He'd tell Freya the truth that he was the prince of Nishr. No...I can't. If she figures it out or asks, then I'll tell her, but I'll keep quiet for now. "We met and became friends. Aazon helped me escape death; I owe him my life." He smiled. "I'd be dead if it were for Aazon. He protects me as if I'm his younger brother or something like that."
--------------------------------------
"If the slavers and the rebels were to go up against each other in a fight, the rebels would lose. While the rebels know how to fight, the slavers have had more training. Not to mention the slavers have the weapons to fight." Trinn shrugged. "I don't know much about war and fighting though. You should ask Aazon about stuff like that." He coughed. "Not that he's a part of the rebel group."

"We met and became friends. Aazon helped me escape death; I owe him my life." When Bird smiled, Freya couldn’t help but mirror the action. His smile was so sweet and kind, which made her wonder why he had faced death. "I'd be dead if it were for Aazon. He protects me as if I'm his younger brother or something like that."
Freya gently pushed a plate in front of Bird. It steamed and put off a wonderful aroma that would have made Freya hungry if she weren’t so tiny and still living off Jedi Energy cubes. She never much had acquired a taste for anything—sweets were her downfall though. But she was a Jedi and the only time she had ever had something sweet was while serving an ambassador with her master. This, however, was like what she made for the younglings, a wonderful, though small, meal with exquisite spices.
“I’m sorry, I know I’m probably an awful cook. After all, I’m not very good at much. Just healing. Even then, I’ve been told I will never make a Jedi master with just that skill,” Freya said, shuddering at the thought of those particular padawans who had bullied her and beaten on her all her life. It was nothing that she had the right to bring up though. A few black eyes and broken ribs were nothing compared to the tragedies taking place on this planet. “I’m sorry!” she exclaimed, sitting down across from him and hugging herself. “I’ve talked too much, I apologize.”
-------------------------------------------------
"I don't know much about war and fighting though. You should ask Aazon about stuff like that." Trinn said with a cough. "Not that he's a part of the rebel group."
Tabitha scoffed. “I should have guessed you didn’t know much, ha-ha. You’re blind, after all. But this Aazon guy, how come he knows so much if he’s been in that shop half of his life? No matter. I don’t suppose you have any fighting skills at all? What about Aazon? And do I even ask if the frail little boy you call Bird can fight? Cause here’s the thing: if you want your freedom, you have to fight for it. I can fight. I can fight well. But I can’t win the war for you. Luckily—I can train you guys. But are you willing? Because people will die. Good people.”

Bird ate quietly as Freya talked. He wondered for a moment that if eat politely, the way he had been taught, would give any hints to her about his identity. Bird pushed the thought away. You didn't have to be rich and raised as a royal to have table manners. He instead listened to Freya intently, watching her expressions change with each thing that she said. So sad, but why?
“I’m sorry!” Freya exclaimed. She hugged herself tightly in a self-soothing way. “I’ve talked too much, I apologize.”
Bird stood up suddenly. "Who says you can't be a Jedi Master?! You shouldn't let others dictate who you are! You are your person and you can be whatever you want to be. Even if you spend you days quietly walking along, unnoticed. Or, if you are awake in the late hours of the night reading history books. It's these things who make you who you are. You are destined for great things despite what anyone says or does!" Bird bit his lower lip and slowly sat down. "Sorry, I didn't mean to shout..." He looked down at the half-finished plate of food. He realized too late that he wasn't talking about her as much as he was talking about himself. "I don't know much about the Jedi. Actually, I know close to nothing about you and your people. But, if you have the ability to make people better, not just in healing, but in every aspect of their lives, then that is the greatest gift of all. Freya..." He got up and walked over to her. "My parents taught me only one useful lesson in my life and that was to never look down to anyone who questions who you are." He embraced her tightly, knowing that hugging yourself was never enough. He whispered in her ear. "Keep your chin up and know who you are."
Bird released her and stood up straight before his hug became an awkward embrace. "I need to tell you something..." He looked to the side his eyebrows coming together in concentration. He clenched his fists. Now he had to tell her; he had to tell her the truth. "You see, I'm---well---I'm the---the---"
"Worst fighter in all of Nishr." Aazon grabbed him from behind and ruffled his hair. "Bird is too soft; can't even pick up or hold a knife. We need to work on fighting, just so you can defend yourself in case you run into trouble on the streets."
"Would you stop playing around?!" Bird grew red in the face with embarrassment and wriggled his way out of Aazon's grasp. "Just take them to the rebel base and stop messing around! They don't have to wait several hours to meet with the rebels. Quit lying and joking around Aazon. This is serious!"
"Yeah yeah. Serious. Last time I checked, I really don't care what happens to this planet." Aazon rolled his eyes. "Call me cold-hearted and dark, whatever you like, but if it doesn't involve me directly, then I don't give a care."
"Your hatred for the royal family is the only reason you don't want to help! You are letting innocent people suffer by not helping with the alliance." Bird stared him down with eyes blazing.
"You aren't helping either, Bird! Ugh! I can't stand that name! Zykus! Zykus! Zykus! That's your real name. Just shout it to the world and let everyone on Nishr know that their prince is nothing but a weakling who doesn't even know how to lead his people!" Aazon pushed him. "You're weak. You can't fight. And, there is no way you can help the people. Just let the planet fall! You can't do anything!"
"I can do something!" Zykus bit back the tears that threatened to leak from his eyes. "I have to do something. It is my job. My---"
"Shh!" Aazon held up a hand, his head turned away from Zykus.
"Don't tell me to---" Zykus started but was then silenced again.
"Shh!" Aazon's eye narrowed in concentration and then they widened. "Zygerrians!" He hissed. "Zykus, take the Jedi to your room. I'll close it off, and if need be, get out. You know where to go."
"I'll just put my cloak on and then we can---"
"No, it's different this time. I can feel it." Aazon pushed them toward Zykus' room and shut the door and locked it once they were in.
The light coming from underneath the door disappeared as a shelf was placed in front of the door. Zykus backed up against the wall and listened as Aazon moved quickly to get everything in place before the Zygerrians arrived. There were several voices, followed by some laughing. Zkyus could hardly breathe, though they wouldn't have been able hear him even if he had been talking in a low, hushed voice. He felt himself tremble and fought to control it. These were the same type of beings that had executed his parents unknowingly before his eyes. Aazon was right; he couldn't fight this battle...not when he was so terrified of the people he was fighting.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"Be that as it may..." Trinn stated, a little offended by the 'blind' comment, "Aazon is more than you think he is. He's probably one of the only people that can fight on this planet. Might even give you a run for your money is you didn't have your lightsaber. I'm pretty decent in a fight, but only close-range. My vision sometimes allows me to see things before they happen. And, Bird, no. He could barely fight to save his life." Trinn drew circles on the counter. "I think that these people are willing to die for their freedom. If you have freedom, and then it is taken away, I believe that anyone would go out of their way to get it back. That's just my opinion though."

“My parents taught me only one useful lesson in my life and that was to never look down to anyone who questions who you are."
Freya jumped as Bird wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a tight embrace. She . . . she had never been hugged before. It was something extremely alien. All her life, she had to hold herself—hug herself. But now, a chill ran through her body as she felt what it was like to lean on someone else for once—to allow someone to serve her.
“Keep your chin up and know who you are,” Bird whispered softly in her ear.
When he released her, Freya felt the weight of self-doubt creep back, though she wasn’t about to ask for another hug.
“I need to tell you something," Bird stated, "You see, I'm---well---I'm the---the---" “Worst fighter in all of Nishr."
Freya jumped when Aazon came from nowhere and grabbed Bird from behind. It was like he had been listening in on their entire conversation. The thought made Freya blush, though she wasn’t sure why.
"Bird is too soft,” Aazon stated, “can't even pick up or hold a knife. We need to work on fighting, just so you can defend yourself in case you run into trouble on the streets."
"Would you stop playing around?!" Bird’s sudden power in his voice made Freya back away a step. “Just take them to the rebel base and stop messing around! They don't have to wait several hours to meet with the rebels. Quit lying and joking around Aazon. This is serious!"
There was a rebel base? Freya’s eyes widened and she looked between the two of them, wondering if it was true, that she and Tabitha already could be at the base. Had . . . had they lied?
"Yeah yeah. Serious. Last time I checked, I really don't care what happens to this planet." Aazon stated, making Freya blink with surprise. "Call me cold-hearted and dark, whatever you like, but if it doesn't involve me directly, then I don't give a care."
"Your hatred for the royal family is the only reason you don't want to help! You are letting innocent people suffer by not helping with the alliance." Bird said, power filling him.
"You aren't helping either, Bird! Ugh! I can't stand that name! Zykus! Zykus! Zykus! That's your real name. Just shout it to the world and let everyone on Nishr know that their prince is nothing but a weakling who doesn't even know how to lead his people!"
Freya was against a wall by now, tears pushing at her eyes from the yelling. She hated fights and yelling, when two ‘friends’ turned on each other. It broke her heart. But this—this news—that Bird’s real name was Zykus, that he was a prince! It made sense, now that she thought about it. He was so kind. But he was so young, it was no wonder he was hiding.
But then Aazon pushed Bird, or Zykus, and Freya was pulled forward again. That was wrong. No one had the right to push that boy around. She stopped behind Zykus so if Aazon pushed him again, she could catch him and step between them.
“You're weak. You can't fight. And, there is no way you can help the people. Just let the planet fall! You can't do anything!"
"I can do something!" Zykus fought back. "I have to do something. It is my job. My---"
Freya straightened when she felt tension. “Shh!" Aazon exclaimed.
Freya felt it too, though Zykus didn’t seem to understand. “Don’t tell me to---"
"Shh!" Aazon's eye narrowed in concentration and then they widened. "Zygerrians!" He hissed. "Zykus, take the Jedi to your room. I'll close it off, and if need be, get out. You know where to go."
"I'll just put my cloak on and then we can---"
"No, it's different this time. I can feel it."
Freya jumped as suddenly, Aazon was shoving both her and Zykus into Zykus’s room and locking them there. Her adrenilane pumped faster than normal and she instantly become more aware of her surroundings. Something was wrong, but was Aazon lying again? Was this all part of some plan he had to somehow hurt her and Zykus?
Zykus backed against the wall and listened as Aazon’s voice could barely be heard, along with some laughing. Freya kept her eyes locked on him as he trembled with fear. These men—they had done something to him, Freya could tell. But she stood a little taller.
She was a Jedi. She protected the innocent from harm. She was born to die for a greater good. Zykus was a greater good—and she was willing to die for him. Carefully and quietly, Freya reached out and slipped her arm besides Zykus’s, reaching for his hand. Her fingers intertwined gently around his and when he cast her a look she stared him in the eyes. He may have been trembling—but she wasn’t.
“I’m going to protect you,” Freya whispered. “I promise.”
--------------------------------------------------
“If you have freedom, and then it is taken away, I believe that anyone would go out of their way to get it back. That's just my opinion though.”
Tabitha nodded. “No, it’s the truth. I know that because I—” She froze as an icy feeling hit her. Setting her glass down, Tabitha stood. “Get me back to the shop. Now. Something’s wrong. We have to go.” She tossed a couple coins on the counter for the bartender, the sense of urgency escalating. Freya was scared, she might not have been showing it, but Tabitha could feel it. The Bird boy was different now and Aazon . . . she still couldn’t tell anything on him. “Now, Trinn,” Tabitha insisted. “Get me back there, now.”

Freya's fingers entwined with his own, and Zykus froze. “I’m going to protect you,” she whispered to him, “I promise.” He released her hand and looked at her. She was so much smaller than him and yet she was going to protect him?
He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. "Thank you." he said back to her in a hushed voice. No one had ever said that to him before. Not once. Never. Somehow, it made him feel like everything was going to be okay.
There was a loud crash and they separated from the embrace. "WE need to get out of here...." Zykus said, moving ever so quietly over to a vent. He lifted it out of place and set it aside. Aazon had designed it so that if he needed to escape out that way, he could put the vent back over the air duct hole to make it look like no one had been in there. "This way." He waved Freya over.
-------------------------------
Aazon thought he had the four Zygerrians that came into his shop believing his story about how Zykus (or Bird as they knew him as) was out on the street with Trinn. However, things had definitely taken a turn for the worse. He didn't know what it was that set them off, but the four, fully armed Zygerrians attacked wanting information. One of the rebels must have spilled his guts, he concluded.
Aazon held his breath as the last two of the Zygerrians circled around his shop, looking for him. He reached down and a throwing knife out of his boot. He held it out, watching the dull reflection of one of the Zygerrians. Just as the Zygerrian turned, Aazon through his knife. A direct hit, the brute was done. All he had to do was take out the last one.
A pair of hands wrapped around his neck, and Aazon gasped. He closed his eyes, slowing the situation down and analyzing a way out of his deadly predicament. When he opened his eyes again, he moved so fast that he wasn't even sure of what he was doing. Three shelves toppled over and sent bit of everything everywhere. The Zygerrian his gun, but Aazon caught it and jerked it out of his hand with a steel like grip. The threw fists at each other as the scrambled for the blaster on the floor. Aazon reached it first and fired three times. It was over, he had won.
Sinking against the wall, Aazon let out a labored sigh while cleaning his knife. The Zygerrians knew how to fight, that was one thing for sure. No bones were broken, but his nose was bleeding and he sported several cuts on his arms and one tiny one on his chin. "At least they got away." He grinned and then let out a grunt of pain. He slid the cleaned throwing knife back into his boot and relaxed his head against the wall. He held the blaster tightly in his palm, breathing slowly. Listening. Sensing.
----------------------------------------
Trinn got up and thanks the bar tender for the water and ran out the door with Tabitha right beside him. Something in her voice told him that she wasn't joking. He weaved in and out of the crowds and pushed people aside at times. The time it took to get to the shop was cut in half, and by the time they arrived, Trinn was out of breath. When he looked up his mouth dropped. The shop was devastated.....and there were dead bodies scattered about. He looked around and caught the dark blue gleam of Aazon's energy aura. He jumped over the counter and ran to him, dodging and tripping over the items scattered across the floor.
"Aazon!" He fell next beside him. Although he couldn't see his, from the way he was breathing, Trinn knew that Aazon was hurt.
"Did you have fun?" Aazon asked, his voice light-hearted, even though he had just been in a fight for his life.
"Are you okay? What happened. Where are Freya and Zykus?!" Trinn swallowed. He had said it, Bird's real name. He prayed that Tabitha hadn't heard him, but he knew that she did.
"They got away, I was able to help them get out before these Zygerrians showed up." Aazon didn't seem to care that he had said Zykus' name. He tried to pushed himself up off the floor, but let out a sigh and sat back down slowly. "Next time," he said, "I'm going to the bar and the Jedi can man the shop."

When Zykus hugged Freya tightly, she jumped a bit. This boy . . . liked to hug people. Some people were like that, Freya supposed. Maybe hugs didn’t have the same power for him that they did for her.
“Thank you,” he said quietly before a loud bang made both of them jump. “We need to get out of here,” Zykus said, leading her to a specially designed vent. He told her to follow and she did so. Once they were both in the vent, Zykus closed it and they crawled out. Freya brushed herself off and looked to Zykus.
“Tell me where you need to go, I will get you there safely, okay?” she said, her voice kind, since she knew that the boy had to be worried for his friends.

"They got away, I was able to help them get out before these Zygerrians showed up.” They. That meant that Freya was okay. Tabitha took a short breath. Good. If Tabitha had a lost or dead padawan on her record, that would not help her reputation. And the loss of the little angel would be sad too. Although, Tabitha didn’t even know the girl’s master, so it wasn’t like telling a friend that she had lost their kid or something.
“Next time," Aazon said, "I'm going to the bar and the Jedi can man the shop."
Tabitha smiled and knelt next to the boy who was around her age. “If I had known you were going to have the fun without me, I would have stayed,” she said. With that, Tabitha wrapped an arm around Aazon and pulled him to his feet. She had always been strong, so getting him up wasn’t exactly hard.
“Where are the kids?” she asked, “Cause Sanatore has this no killing rule that might just get her killed. We need to get out of here.”

"The rebellion, that's where Aazon would expect me to go." He thought for a moment. The rebellion although strong in some aspects was not good at hiding in the city. They were based in the mountains, and that was a long journey on foot. They would need to find a speeder while avoiding the main streets. "The rebel base is somewhere in he mountains, but I'm not sure exactly where. I know you have to go through a tunnel at the base of the tallest mountain and then at that point the base should be close." He swallowed and looked around. "So uh, do you know how to obtain and operate a speeder?"

“Where are the kids?” Tabitha asked, “Cause Sanatore has this no killing rule that might just get her killed. We need to get out of here.”
"No killing? You've got to be kidding me." Aazon replied and let out a long sigh. "Well, if they aren't in Zykus' room..." He pushed the shelf out of the way and let it topple over onto the floor with a loud crash. He slid the door open and nodded; good boy. "Zykus went through the vent here. It leads to the edge of the city. He's probably going to take them to the rebel base in the mountains. If the kid is as smart as I think he is, they probably have a speeder and are on their way there now." Aazon made his way around to a wall and then pressed his hand against it. A square around his hand light up and left and impression in the wall. Another section of the wall lifted up and Aazon reached in, pulling out a long range rifle and a pair of swords. While blasters and guns were nice, nothing could beat the balance blade of a sharp sword or knife. He loved sharp things. "So, you want to go after them?"

"So uh, do you know how to obtain and operate a speeder?"
Freya frowned. Yes, she did know how to obtain and operate a speeder, she just didn’t like to do that because it typically involved stealing. A friend had taught her once how to do it. Friend . . . Freya thought to herself with a laugh, you mean Master, don’t you?
Freya swallowed hard and motioned for Zykus to follow her, thinking back to the one other time she had done something like this. She motioned for Zykus to stay quiet while she approached a man who was just getting out of his speeder.
“Sir,” Freya said kindly, “I’ve been looking all over for you!”
“Uh, do I know you?” the man asked, hesitantly.
Freya smiled as, through the Force, she pushed her mind carefully towards his so that he wouldn’t feel her prescence take over. “Yes, don’t you remember me?” The man studied her for a couple seconds more—that’s all she needed. Raising her hand, Freya waved it in front of the man. “We need a speeder. You will give us yours.”
The man blinked before saying blankly. “You, uh, need a speeder? I will give you mine.”
“You always serve the greater good of the world. And you won’t regret this,” Freya said.
“I always serve the greater good of the world,” the man said, puffing up with pride, “And I won’t regret this.”
Freya nodded. “Thank you, you are very kind.” With that, she motioned for Zykus to get in and quickly hopped in the pilot’s seat. She guilty smiled at the man as he cheerfully waved goodbye and she looked to Zykus for a moment before taking off in the speeder. “You’ll have to tell me where to go,” she said, lifting her voice over the sound of the wind speeding past them.

"So, you want to go after them?"
“No,” Tabitha said sarcastically, “I want to let them run off on their own so they can get themselves killed. What do you think? That girl’s my ticket to gaining favor with the Council. Come on, we’ll take my ship. Blindfolds, you coming?”

Zykus was thrilled that someone let them have a speeder. He made a mental note to remember the man's face so that he could pay him back and then some for his generosity. Though, it was kind of odd how he almost repeated everything that Freya said. But he didn't think anything more of it. He was just glad that there were still some good people on his home world who really did care about the greater good.
In truth, Zykus had never been on a speeder before, so it was awkward riding on the back. When Aazon went out on dates, the girls who road on the back of his speeder always had their arms wrapped around him. Was it a girl thing, or a safety thing? He decided it was for safety. He wrapped his arms around her waist and held onto her, but not so tight to where she couldn't breathe. He smiled to himself and then leaned toward her so he could speak directly into her ear. "We need to head for the mountains, I 'm not sure which one right now because they are far away, but I can tell you when we get closer." He said over the wind rushing past them.

Aazon rubbed his chin and smiled. He loved sarcasm, it was a good trait to have. It reminded him of, well, himself. "So, are you coming Trinn?"
"Well, I don't really like flying in---"
"Of course you are." He grabbed the boy's shoulder. "I have two speeders in the back that will get us to the docks in no time. Let's go."
"I object!" Trinn followed closely behind him.
"I know you do." Aazon said. "But, I know I'll need your special sight."
"Whatever." Trinn hopped on the back of one of the speeders. "Can I have a blaster?"
"No." Aazon replied instantly. "Tabitha, don't make us wait." He grinned and started up the speeder's engine.
